Desain Purwarupa Kunci Loker Menggunakan Passive Short-Range RFID

Abstract

Dalam peminjaman loker, proses peminjaman dan pengembalian anak kunci dianggap kurang efisien. Selain itu, kunci loker konvensional akan mengalami penurunan kualitas jika tempat kunci yang ada pada pintu loker sering diganti akibat hilangnya anak kunci oleh para peminjam loker. Melihat potensi passive Radio-frequency identification (RFID)sebagai kunci untuk kamar hotel, penelitian ini bertujuan membuat purwarupa kunci loker yang memanfaatkan passive RFID. Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa yang menggunakan kartu dengan teknologi passive RFID dimanfaatkan sebagai pengganti anak kunci dan tempat kunci diganti dengan rangkaian elektronik yang terdiri dari card reader, mikrokontroler, dan selenoid. Hasil pengujian secara fungsional terhadap rangkaian elektronika yang dibangun sebagai purwarupa menunjukkan purwarupa siap digunakan untuk diterapkan pada tahapan aplikatif. Salah satu peluang untuk penelitian lanjutan adalah melakukan pengkinian data pada SD card melalui jaringan internet sehingga proses peminjaman loker menjadi lebih efisien.
